A handful of new styles now online ~
A handful of new styles are now available to shop online ~ a cotton poplin jacket, culotte capri, and skirt set in morel brown and mallow pink (plus a semi-sheer green option).
I wanted an easy summer capri ~ especially now that I’m commuting to the studio by bike. Something slouchy with room to move. They’re incredibly comfortable, with deep side seam pockets, and I’ve been living in them with tanks and tees through this heat wave.
I also made the skirt set in a semi-sheer tencel with a slight sheen ~ perfect for warm summer evenings. I love this celery / seagrass / light sage color. On the cotton poplin sets I used deadstock genuine horn buttons, but for this one I switched to deadstock shell buttons to continue that same soft sheen.
Picking out buttons. These are vintage, from a flea market in Paris ~ I wish I'd gotten more, there's really only enough for one-off pieces.
The skirt is 2.5” shorter than the capri for a lighter look, but the body is otherwise the same ~ same deep side seam pockets, drawstring hip-line, and pull-on waist.
Heading back into patternmaking mode to develop more new styles ~ excited to see how these pieces are received. Hope you love them as much as I do.
