The latest vintage collection went live online Monday, this time made up entirely of jewelry pieces. Jewelry has long been a deep source of inspiration for me, not just as adornment but as a way of wearing history, memory, and sculpture. I wanted to take a moment to walk through a few of the pieces from this release and share some of the ideas and references that shaped them.
Lucite bangles, blown glass rings, sterling silver earrings, sculptural chokers, and mobile earrings…

For the wrist, I was drawn to oversized beaded bracelets, shell, horn, lucite, tiger’s eye… The hand-carved wooden cuff is one of my favorites. I also adore a square cabochon and love the idea of the hinged mother of pearl bracelet over a sheer extra long sleeved knit as we enter fall.

I’ve always loved lucite and blown glass statement rings and found these playful and their mix of colors engaging.

I’m perpetually on the hunt for vintage mobile earrings and they’ve proven extremely difficult to find. These shell ones (center, top row) are hard for me to part with. I also love the similarities of the necklaces in the top row to Vivianna Torun pieces - the simplicity of integrating the clasp into the front of the design in the top left choker is stunning.

I’m also feeling very drawn to where folk jewelry and artisan pieces intersect - the result is sculptural, unusual, and not too serious.
Beyond vintage, my favorite current-day jewelry brands and makers are Sisi Joía, Sophie Buhai, Gala Colivet Dennison, and Zoé Mohm. What is inspiring you in jewelry right now? I’d love to know as I begin to source for the next collection drop.
